I had wanted to do some kind of painting for a while, but I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted to do. It was first after reading an issue of Juxtapoz that I fell in love with the work of Greg Lamarche and his way of turning letters into art. More specifically, it was this piece, named Untitled, that caught my attention and got me inspired. My first attempt at recreating the Lamarche letterings became the building blocks for this piece, which I dubbed Grafia Utopia.
It is a land built on clouds. It is also my very own deeply personal dream place.
