In 2004, when I went to high school in Göteborg, I had to come up with a birthday present to my older brother. At the time, there was this guy I knew in the neighborhood who made t-shirts with local prints on them. It was an underground thing, and I wanted to get my brother one of those t-shirts. The whole thing fell through because I couldn’t reach the t-shirt guy, which made me thinking “I’ll just have to make a t-shirt myself then”. And just like that, Swimp Clothing was born.

I received good feedback from my prints and started making more and more. A little vinyl shop in the neighborhood sold limited editions of my first print, Nothing But Love. Milestones include when I got the first shipment of sewn neck tags and got local hiphop act Rico Wondahman to wear my Nothing but love t-shirt on stage at Swedish HipHop Awards 2004.
